Magnificent:
http://sspx.org/en/news-events/news/pri ... rview-2703I had not, as far as I can recall, ever heard of Priebke until yesterday, and he does not appear to be a man of any great interest, but his funeral has been one of those clarifying moments of history, when opposing moral systems are laid bare in all their respective beauty and ugliness.
Priebke’s crime was foul, but the general run of the media, academia, etc. has justified and whitewashed the crime to which Priebke was reacting – viz. the street bombing which killed not only dozens of German soldiers but also Roman civilians (including a teenage boy). So the moral lesson we are supposed to learn is that murdering schoolboys with indiscriminate bombing is OK if you kill occupying soldiers as well, but even a repentant criminal is to be hated and denied a respectable burial if his victims were Communists. Can the morality of the world discredit itself any more thoroughly than this?
