New post Two books
My wife and I have been reading two books which, we think, should be read by anyone who wants to understand why we, on this forum, think the way we do with regard to the situation of our Church today.

These are 1) the collection of Patrick Henry Omlor's writings entitled, "The Robber Church", and 2) Fr. Anthony Cekada's book entitled, "Work of Human Hands". The focus of the two books is different, but they "mesh" together to give the modern reader a clear understanding of the present situation.

Although we have some criticism to make with regard to the editing and the format of the Omlor book, we also believe it is "de rigeur" reading for us today.

Those of you who are new to this forum, or who are just "visiting", would do well to read both books to help you understand our position.

Omlor's books CAN be bought from Amazon: however the asking prices is astronomical: around $200.00 (!). It can be bought from this source:

http://www.miqcenter.com/books/0-problems.shtml for $30.00.

Fr. Cekada's book can be bought here:

New post Re: Two books
I would credit Mr Omlor and Fr Cekada with being the two writers who were the most influential in my coming to accept the so-called sedevacantist position, as the best way of accounting for what has happened to our beloved Church.

Readers here might be interested to know that "The Robber Church" can be downloaded as a 400-page PDF file from http://www.huttongibson.com/PDFs/huttongibson_robberchurch_book.pdf

New post Re: Two books
I suppose I should clarify my statement wherein I mention "...our position."

I meant that "our position" is that these last several claimants of the Holy See cannot possibly be True Popes, but were and are, in fact, Anti-Popes.

I, and those who believe as I do are not sede-vacantists: we are sede-impeditists as I have explained in the past.
